3-position enabling switch element, single element

Enabling switches are used during troubleshooting, programming and testing when no other accident prevention devices are possible or suitable. The enabling switch is held in the hand, and in a panic situation the operator can either press the enabling button harder or release it completely to stop the machine. An enabling switch is a manually operated start and stop switch that initiates operation and maintains it as long as it is actuated.
