The selective main miniature circuit breakers of the S750 series are certified to DIN VDE 0641-21 as voltage-independent selective main circuit breakers (SHU), are suitable for operation by non-skilled persons and are designed for the highest overvoltage category. Their range of applications is diverse: as a disconnecting device at the meter position in accordance with the TAB of the network operators or VDE-AR-N 4101, as well as in all low-voltage main distribution boards for the protection of distribution circuits and as a disconnecting device with isolating function. Particularly noteworthy are the special selectivity properties ensuring high system availability. The S750 series is intended for direct mounting on a 4- or 5-pole 40mm busbar system (12mm x 5/10mm). Irrespective of the rated current of the S750, the busbar system can be fed directly via the lower terminal with up to 50mm² and max. 100A. Devices of the S 750 family include an integrated locking facility that allows simultaneous blocking of the 3 poles of a three-phase supply. The integrated locking slide locks in the ON or OFF position and can additionally be secured with a padlock, wire seal or cable tie.
