The S 400 series miniature circuit breakers protect cables and wires against overload and short circuit in accordance with DIN VDE 0100-430 and DIN VDE 0100-530. They comply with the construction regulations DIN VDE 0641-11 and IEC/EN 60898-1, DIN VDE 0660-101 and IEC/EN60947-2. Their patented terminal ensures simple and safe contacting and handling by means of a pressure plate. Conductor cross-sections up to 35 mm² can be connected directly to the device via the insulated terminal with protection class IP20. Contacting is made directly via the plug-in base system, and the phase conductor connection can be freely selected (L1, L2 or L3).
